Stories Celebrating
SEA ICE AND COMMUNITY
in the Canadian Arctic

Welcome to Sea Ice Stories, a project by photographer Acacia Johnson.

This ongoing project was photographed in the community of Ikpiarjuk (Arctic Bay), on the north of Baffin Island, in Spring 2018. Through a positive and poetic approach, the project will explore links between sea ice and cultural identity, community, and adaptability in the Canadian Arctic.
